Magnolia was a superb host, always making sure we were comfortable. She also allowed us to hang out in the common area after checkout to wait for our evening bus. The room we got was very spacious, and nicely decorated in a minimalist way. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom room. There was a small shared kitchen that we could use to prepare our own meals, and the Chedraui supermarket was just a short walk away (beside the ADO bus station). This was perfect for us—to prepare our own meals after gorging a bit in Oaxaca City. The location of the accommodation was great. Short walk from the ADO bus station and Chedraui supermarket, and it wasn't too hard to walk to the various beaches too.
I’ve stayed in so many places travelling round. This not only was the perfect location, clean rooms and warm shower - it had the most fantastic welcome booklet. With QR codes to Google maps of where everything you could want or need is. So simple but so brilliant
We had a really good stay at this place. It was quiet and clean and Magnolia is such a great person. She was really helpful and so kind! We just stayed there for two days because there was no room free after that otherwise we would have stayed longer! Thank you for the great time at your place Magnolia! Magnolia was the best host during our holiday in Mexico. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was very clean and the double rooms had AC and hot water. She was also very helpful and gave us a lot of travel hints. If we come back to Puerto Escondido then to Magnolia. Thank you for being such a great host!
You are made to feel at home. Magnolia and her family are so lovely and welcoming. We extended our stay and they were very accommodating. My (longer) stay in Casa Sixta was amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there, open, friendly and relaxed. It's a perfect place to calm down, cook in the well equipped kitchen, make some Yoga in the garden and have a chat with the other people there. Magnolia, the owner has a big part in that this accomodation feels a bit like home. She will help you in every situation, shares coffee with you and interesting conversations. I totally recommend a stay there!
We stayed here only 2 nights, and really enjoyed the place! It's clean, has everything you need, and even a full kitchen for your use. The beds are very comfy, the AC is strong and there's also ceiling fan in the room. The shower has hot water and proper pressure. The owner, Magnolia, is the main charm of the place. Very sweet and friendly, and accomodating to requests. The place felt like home . We checked out around 12, but our bus was at 9pm. She let us keep our luggage safely while we enjoyed the beach and then relaxed in the courtyard of Casa Sixta until our bus. If you're looking for a quiet, clean place to sleep, it's perfect. The location is walking distance from the main beaches (we only took taxi 1 time to go further), and the bus station.
